Reunion Tower is a large observation tower in Dallas, Texas, and one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks. The trademark skyline-changer is 561 ft (about 180 stories) and looks over downtown Dallas. It was built with two purposes – to provide great views from a mile away but also act as an iconic symbol for the Hyatt Regency Hotel complex located around it that includes all sorts of amenities like restaurants, ballrooms, etc.

Pioneer Plaza was dedicated to the city of Dallas in 1995 by the Texas Trees Foundation. Dallas was founded by pioneer settlers and the recreation of a cattle drive in bronze with full-sized brass longhorn steers along with three cowboys is a much-loved feature of this downtown park. Each piece was the creation of artist Robert Summers. The park represents the largest public open space in the business district and includes a waterfall, native plant, and man-made cliffs.

The Sixth Floor Museum is a memorial museum that was created by the people of Dallas, Texas to honor and remember John F. Kennedy’s life after his death in 1963. It is located on the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository (now the Dallas County Administration Building) overlooking Dealey Plaza at Elm St., just across from Houston Street where JFK delivered what would be one of his last speeches before he was assassinated.

The George W. Bush Presidential Center features both the George W. Bush Library and Museum and the George W. Bush Institute, Visitors will learn about America’s 43rd president and the events that shaped his life, from childhood to the presidency. The George W. Bush Library & Museum features many interesting displays including replicas of the President’s office at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue during his administration – complete with exact copies of some furniture (like chairs!)- alongside more solemn items like pieces from Ground Zero after 9/11.

The park is constructed above a section of below-grade Woodall Rodgers Freeway, for three blocks between Pearl Street and St. Paul Street.
